Sugar Cube relay Pinout / Pin diagram

Above is an image of PCB mount Sugar Cube Relay, this name i.e. sugar cube is due to its cuboidal shape. It feels cute and looks similar to a sugar cube, sometimes this relay is also known as 5 pin relay as it has 5 pins but it is just another name in general talk, there are many other types of relay having 5pins so this name ” 5 pin relay ” can’t be perfectly justified. There are some other names people refer to it in general talk such as 5V Relay, 6V Relay, 12V Relay, 24V relay, etc. as this sugar cube relay comes in these voltage ranges. also sometimes it is referred to as 10 amp relay as these sugar cube relays are designed to handle 10 amperes of current at 240VAC.
Sugar cube relays are available with a coil voltage rating of : 5V, 6V, 9V, 12V, 18V, 24V, 36V, and 48V DC.
Pinout / Pin configuration or connection diagram of a Sugar Cube Relay is shown in the above diagram also a symbolic representation of Relay is shown in the image. This relay can be directly mounted on a PCB and it is an SPDT( Sigle Pole Double Throw ) Relay.

T Type Relay Pinout / Pin Configuration

This is an image of a 6 Pin T Type Relay. It is popularly known as T type relay as it looks similar to alphabet T when seen from the top. It is a 6 pin relay having two Common pins, both the common pins are internally connected with each other so anyone of them can be used as COM pin. This 6 Pin T Type relay is a little bit bigger in size than a Sugar cube relay and most of them can handle 30 amperes of current @ 250 VAC and 30amp @ 28VDC; because of this sometimes it is also referred as 30 amp relay. In some of these relay, specifications are also expressed in HP i.e. Horse Power.
HP ratings of these relays are:- 120VAC/1HP or 240VAC/2HP.
The above image shows the Pinout / Pin diagram of a 6 Pin 30amp T-Type Relay.
This relay is a PCB mount type relay i.e. it can be directly mounted on a PCB and are available with a coil voltage of 5V, 6V, 12V, 15V, 18V, 24V, 48V or 110V DC.

[ Common keywords for this relay :: T Type Relay, 6 pin Relay, 30A Relay, 1 HP Relay, 2 HP Relay, L90 Relay, SLA Relay, SLA-48VDC-SL-C, SLA-24VDC-SL-C, SLA-12VDC-SL-C, SLA-06VDC-SL-C, SLA-05VDC-SL-C, SLA-24VDC-SL-A, SLA-12VDC-SL-A, SLA-06VDC-SL-A, SLA-05VDC-SL-A, L90CSDC12V, L90CSDC24V .]
